Puducherry Pollution Control Committee invites applications for the following post via Deputation

Essential Qualification: 

1. Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Union Territory Administrations or Central / State / Autonomous or Statutory Organizations / Recognized Research Institutions / Public Sector Undertakings / Universities. The details of the eligibility criteria are as follows:
(i) Holding analogous posts on· a regular basis; or
(ii) Having at least 2 years regular service in posts in Level 8 of Pay Matrix; or
(iii) Having at least 3 years regular service in posts in Level 7 of Pay Matrix;
2. The Scientist B in the Puducherry Pollution Control Committee with 3 years regular service in the post will also be considered and in case, he is selected for appointment to the post, the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

3. Masters degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Micro-Biology/Environmental Science/Ecology from a recognized University.

4. Five years experience in Environmental Quality Management and Pollution Control Activities or research work in the relevant fields.
