Post Name: Research Officer
Essential Qualification:
(i) Masters degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognized University or institute
OR
(ii) Masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics with at least one paper in Economics from a recognized University or institute.
(iii) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department
(iv) with two years service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in posts in level-9 of the pay matrix (53100-167800/-) or level-8 of the pay matrix (47600-151100/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department
Essential Work Experience: Three years experience in the field of research, investigation, collection, compilation, interpretation and analysis of statistical data.
