Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Programmer Grade-II

Essential Qualification: 

• Bachelors degree from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by the Government. and

• A Label Examination in Computer from Department of Electronics Accredited in Computer and Communication (DOEACC), Government of India or by Government It is necessary to pass any other examination recognized equivalent to it. or

• Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science (PGDCA) with the degree of Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) or Bachelor of Science (Electronics) from a University established by law in India or India Any qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.

Desirable: Other things being equal, preference will be given to a candidate who:-

(i) Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or

(ii) Has obtained B certificate of the National Cadet Corps, or

(iii) Must have successfully passed a course in Computer Hardware and Computer Networking from any institute recognized by the Central or State Government.
