Post Name: Community Health Officer (CHO)

Essential Qualification:

  • Passed GNM/ BSc Nursing/ Post Basic BSc Nursing (before or after 2020) with/without Integrated BPCCHN/CPCH course from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council.

  • They must have Registration certificate/ Provisional certificate/ Reciprocal registration from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).

  • The candidate should be a resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak Bengali.

Desirable:

  • Competency in MS Office and Internet

  • Proficiency in Bengali & local language & dialect.

Recruitment Details

West Bengal State Health and Family Welfare Samiti invites application for various posts. Total 1100 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number SHFWS/2022/271. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 40, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, Unreserved, Scheduled Tribes and PWBD Quota . The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Kolkata, West Bengal, India, 700046.
