Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites applications for Rakshak Exam 2023:

Exam Name: Rakshak Exam

Educational Qualification: For direct recruitment to the post of Guard, it is necessary for the candidate to have passed the High School examination from the Board of Secondary Education, Uttarakhand or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Government.

Essential Qualification: Other things being equal, preference shall be given in the matter of direct recruitment to a candidate who has

(i) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years or

(ii) has obtained B or C certificate of the National Cadet Corps.

Recruitment Details

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 3 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number A-1/Est/Rakshak/2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 40 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories and Other Backward Classes will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Women and Unreserved . The examination will be conducted through Online and Offline mode at Reginal and Regional level. Examination Date Rescheduled Due to Kanwar Yatra in Haridwar Nagar on exam day, keeping in view the possibility of disruption in the movement of candidates and organization of examination, the conduct of examination is postponed on July 16, 2023. Rakshak Exam 2023 will be organized on August 06, 2023 (Sunday) from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm in the examination centers of Haridwar and Haldwani Nagar. Candidates can download their admit cards for the examination from the Commissions website www.psc.uk.gov.in from July 22, 2023.	Due to Kanwar Yatra in Haridwar Nagar on exam day, keeping in view the possibility of disruption in the movement of candidates and organization of examination, the conduct of examination is postponed on July 16, 2023. Rakshak Exam 2023 will be organized on August 06, 2023 (Sunday) from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm in the examination centers of Haridwar and Haldwani Nagar.
