Directorate of Marketing and Inspection invites applications for the following posts via Deputation

Essential Qualification:

1 .The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation and similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

2 The period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years.

Transfer on deputation (including short-term contract); Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration or Statutory Organizations or Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions:

(a)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR

(ii) With five (5) years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level-6 (Rs 35400-112400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; AND Possessing the following educational qualification and experience namely:

Essential:

(i) Master of Science in Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Dairy Chemistry or Food Technology or Oil Technology or Toxicology or Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent with one (01) year experience in the analysis of agricultural commodities and organic materials from Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administration or Statutory Organizations or Public Sector Undertakings or University or recognized research Institutions or Autonomous Bodies or National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories accredited Laboratory; OR

(ii) Bachelor of Technology in Oil or Food or Chemical Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with two (02) years work experience in a supervisory capacity in analytical work of agricultural commodities and organic materials out of which one year should be in the analysis of agricultural commodities or organic materials from Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administration or statutory organizations or Public Sector Undertakings or University or recognized research Institutions or Autonomous Bodies or National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories accredited Laboratory.
