Essential qualification: Deputy Nursing Superintendent in the Pay Level-9 in VII CPC (pre-revised PB2: Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.5400 in VI CPC or Scale of Pay Rs.650010500 in V CPC) with 2 years regular service, failing which Deputy Nursing Superintendent with 5 years combined regular service in the grades of Deputy Nursing Superintendent & Assistant Nursing Superintendent possessing B.Sc. in Nursing or equivalent from recognized University and should be a registered Nurse and Midwife in a State Nursing Council register.
