Haryana Public Service Commission invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Assistant Scientist (Soils)

Essential Qualification:

  • 1st class M.Sc (Agriculture) or Agronomy/Plant Physiology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Horticulture.

  • Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric Standard as Education.

  • For all posts of Assistant Scientist, candidates should have cleared NET/SET. Condition of NET may be exempted for the subjects like Remote Sensing/GIS/Geo-informatics where no agency conduct the NET exam.

Essential Work Experience: One year experience in the application of Remote Sensing/GIS in Agriculture.

Desirable:

  • Post Graduate Diploma/Degree (Geographic Information System) from Institute.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge in computer applications for all the scientific posts.
