Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites applications for Lab Assistant (Group-C) Exam 2023

Exam name: Lab Assistant (Group-C) Exam 2023

Educational Qualification: 

  • Secondary Education Council of Uttar Pradesh / Uttarakhand. Intermediate examination, subject related to laboratory

  • Passed with or any other examination declared by the Governor as its equivalent (passed equivalent qualification from a recognized council such as NIOS

Preferential Qualification:

  • Recognition related to the concerned laboratory subject Obtained graduate / post graduate degree

  • Certificate of minimum 06 months duration from a reputed institute in computer application

  • Other things being equal in the case of direct recruitment who (a) with at least two years service in the Territorial Army Or (b) have obtained B certificate of National Cadet Corps, other things being equal, will be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment

Recruitment Details

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 107 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number A-3/DR/S-3/2023-24. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 40, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Person With Benchmark Disability and Ex-Serviceman will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, Women, PWBD Quota and Ex-servicemen . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India, 249401.

In the examination calendar dated November 29, 2023 issued by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, the proposed date of the Lab Assistant (Group-C) Exam 2023 was mentioned as April 23 to 26, 2024. But due to unavoidable reasons, the above proposed examination date is changed and the new dates are fixed as 27th to 29th April, 2024 and 07th and 08th May, 2024.
