Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name:Sub Inspector (Civil Police/Intelligence)

Essential Qualification:

  • Must possess a graduate degree from a university established by law in India or any equivalent educational qualification recognized by the Government.

  • The educational qualification for ex-servicemen will be Intermediate or its equivalent.

Post Name: Fire Station Second Officer

Essential Qualification:

  • Must possess a Bachelors degree in Science from a University established by law in India or any equivalent educational qualification recognized by the Government.

  • The educational qualification for ex-servicemen will be Intermediate (Science stream) or its equivalent.

  • Preference will be given in case of having a certificate in Computer Application of at least six months duration from an institute recognized by the Central or State Government.

Essential Qualification:

  • Must possess a graduate degree from a university established by law in India or any equivalent educational qualification recognized by the Government.

  • The educational qualification for ex-servicemen will be Intermediate or its equivalent.

Recruitment Details

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 197 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number A-5/DR/ S.I. /E-5/2023-24. The minimum age limit is 21 and the maximum age limit ranges to 27, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Person With Benchmark Disability, Ex-Servicemen and Other Backward Classes will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Scheduled Castes, Ex-servicemen, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections and Other Backward Classes . The examination will be conducted through Online mode at Regional level. There will be a Physical Test.
