National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Essential Qualification:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (and recognized as per NMC Act 2019) (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Act).

  • A recognized PG qualification in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases/Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases/ Allied Specialty (which shall include (a) Clinical Pathology (b) Medicine (c) Microbiology (d) Cardio Thoracic Surgery (e) Pulmonary Medicine (f) Preventive and Social Medicine), (g) Pediatrics, (h) Anesthesia, (i) Biochemistry, (j) Radiology,(k) Hospital Administration.

  • Research, Teaching and Clinical experience of not less than 18/16yearsafter PGDiploma/Degree

  • Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council

Essential Work Experience: At least 5 years experience of running an important teaching/training/research institution either as its Head or Head of Department in SAG scale of PB-4 37400-67000/-+Grade Pay 10,000/- (Revised to pay level 14 as per 7th CPC) OR 10 years experience as Professor or equivalent.
