National Highways Authority of India invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Deputy General Manager (Technical)

Essential Qualification: 

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute;

• From officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions affiliated to Government of India or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other Government Bodies:-

(i) Holding analogous post in parent cadre in the pay scale of Level 12 of pay matrix (78800-209200) or equivalent. or

(ii) with 04 (four) years regular service in the post in parent cadre in the pay scale of Level 11 of pay matrix (67700-208700) or equivalent. or

(iii) With 09 (nine) years regular service in the Pay Level 10 of Pay Matrix (56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent Cadre/department.

• By deputation from officers of the State PWDs:-

(i) Holding Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. AND

(ii) Officers holding the post of EE on regular basis OR should have worked at least for 08 years at the level of AE/AEE/SDEand above on regular basis. AND

(iii) The officer should have at least 05 years experience in projects related to Highways / Roads / Bridges.

Essential Work Experience: Six years experience in implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways Roads and Bridges.

Post Name: Manager (Technical)

Essential Qualification: 

Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute;

From officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions affiliated to Government of India or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other Government Bodies:-

(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the pay scale of Level 11 of Pay Matrix (Rs.67700-208700) or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; or

(ii) With 04 (four) years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the posts in the pay scale of Level 10 of Pay Matrix (56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; or

(iii) With 08 (eight) years regular service in the post in Pay Level-8 of Pay Matrix (47600-151100/-) or equivalent in the Parent Cadre / department.

By deputation from officers of the State PWDs:-

(i) Holding Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. AND

(ii) Officers should have worked at least for 04 years at the level of AE/AEE/SDE and above on regular basis. AND

(iii) The officer should have at least 02 years experience in projects related to Highways / Roads / Bridges.

Essential Work Experience: Three years experience in implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways, Roads and Bridges.
