Sambalpur University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in postgraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -
Course name: Ph.D Programme
Essential Qualification: A candidate who has obtained a Masters Degree in the concerned/ allied subject as mentioned in Table -1 from Sambalpur University or any other University/ Institute recognized by Sambalpur University or such degree obtained from a UGC recognized University/ Institution and foreign Universities recognized by Sambalpur University/ AIU/ UGC/ AICTE etc. may be considered equivalent for this purpose by Sambalpur University with at least 55% marks (or equivalent), shall be eligible for admission into the Ph.D. Programme. The respective Nodal Center should decide on the allied subject. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Differently-Abled categories and those who obtained their Masters Degree before 19th September 1991 shall be given a relaxation of 5% marks at the Masters Degree level. In-service candidates will have to submit a No-objection certificate from their employers, failing which their application will be rejected.
