Post Name: Adhoc Civil Judge (Junior Division)/Munsiff

Essential Qualification:

  • The candidate must be a domicile of UT of Jammu and Kashmir as defined in Rule 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rule, 2020 or resident of UT of Ladakh as defined in Clause (4) of the Union Territory of Ladakh Resident Certificate Order 2021.

  • The candidate must possess a degree of Bachelor of Law of University established by law in India; or

  • A Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a member of the Faculty of Advocates in Scotland or any other equivalent law degree recognised by the Government of India.

Recruitment Details

High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh invites application for various posts. Total 65 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 04 of 2022/RG. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 32, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections, Other Backward Classes and Unreserved .
