National Institute of Animal Biotechnology invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Consultant

Essential Qualification:

1. Extensive experience in Monitoring, Testing and Commissioning of Clean Room facility, GMP facility, Animal House, or BSL/ABSL- 2 & 3 laboratory facilities. Especially, the bidder should have experience in supervising/advising the construction and/or operation of at least one BSL/ABSL-2 and/or one BSL/ABSL-3 containment facility in any State / Central / PSU / University / R&D Institutes / Public Limited Companies / Private Entities.

2. Thorough knowledge in RCGM guidelines for commissioning and validation of BSL-2 or ABSL-2 facility as per RCGM guidelines.

3. Adequate experience to interact with engineering team for construction, commissioning and maintenance of containment facility as per RCGM regulations.

4. Up to date knowledge in regulatory requirements both internationally and nationally that are relevant to BSL/ABSL-2 functions and serve as a resource person for facility users.
