Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  1. The candidate must have good academic track records with first class M.Tech/M.Sc. in Life Sciences with an interest in Genetic Engineering/ Immunology/ Hematology/ Cancer Biology/ Regenerative Biology/ System Biology.

  2. Candidates qualified with national level Junior Research Fellowship such as CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR will be preferred.

  3. The opportunity to pursue doctoral program at RGCB will be as per the institutional norms.

  4. An aptitude in designing, organizing and executing experiments in the bench with strong analytical skills.

Desirable:

  1. Prior biomedical research experience in academia or industry with molecular biology, immunology, cancer immunotherapy, hematology, stem cell engineering or microbiology with desire to pursue a research career would be a plus.

  2. Fine skills in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture.

  3. Good interpersonal skills to work in collaborative teams

  4. A commitment to complete the project.
