India Post invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Absorption/Re-Employment:

Post Name: Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade)

Essential Qualification: From officials holding the post of Dispatch Rider on regular basis or regular Group C employees in the Pay Matrix Level-01 (18000-56900) as per 7th CPC who fulfill the necessary qualification prescribed as under:

1. Possession of a valid Driving License for light and heavy motor vehicle.

2. Knowledge of a Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle).

3. Experience of driving Light and Heavy Motor Vehicle for at least three years.

4. Pass in 10th Standard from a recognized board or institute.
   

Desirable: Three years service as Home Guard or Civil volunteers.
