Essential Qualification:

• BE/ B Tech/ MSc equivalent degree with valid GATE score (but not before 2020) above the prescribed cut off level / NET qualification. The candidate must have CPI of 7.5 or 70% of marks.

• The requirement of GATE score is waived for candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with CGPA > 8.0 and above (out of 10) and other IITs.

• ME/ M Tech/equivalent degree with GATE qualification (but not before 2020) and with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.

• Preference shall be given to the candidates having experience in the field of Communication Engineering, Signal processing. Candidates knowing the design, simulation, and characterization of integrated photonic devices/systems, optical communication, Machine learning, and Deep learning will be given preference. Additionally, it will be preferred if the candidate is familiar working with COMSOL, and Lumerical software.
