Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: General Manager

Essential Qualification: Officers of the Central Government or State Government/ Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Semi Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organizations:-

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. or

(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Pay Level11 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. and

(b) Possessing the following Educational Qualifications and experience:-

• Master Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary/ Plantation/Food Processing/ Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Safety and Quality Assurance/ Food Safety and Quality Management/ Organic Agriculture Organic Farming/ Agriculture Economics/ Agronomy/ Foreign Trade / International Trade/ Management Degree in Agriculture Business Management from recognized University/ Institution

• Three years experience in the above fields post acquiring the above educational qualification.

Desirable: Knowledge of export procedures /requirements/conditions/ WTO matters; Agri Exports including Agri Export from India/ APEDA Scheduled Products/ Traceability systems; SPS/TBT; Quality; NPOP; IPR; Food Safety Authority; Foreign Trade, Knowledge of Information Technology, Research in Agri.Trade/Horti.Trade/Organic Trade etc.
