Event Information

National Institute of Biomedical Genomics invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in postgraduate/ Doctorate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Integrated Master of Science- Doctor of Philosophy (MS-PhD)

Educational Qualification: Indian nationals with minimum 55 % aggregate marks (or an equivalent grade point average) in bachelors degree in any branch of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, statistics are eligible to apply. Students from the SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and PWD categories shall be given a relaxation of 5% marks. Students in the last year of their bachelors degree are also eligible to apply, provided they can produce a proof of having secured the minimum aggregate marks at the time of admission. Students need to have Biology and mathematics at 10+2 level.

Admission Details

National Institute of Biomedical Genomics invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number NIBMG/ADMIN/ESTB/2022-23/061. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and PWBD Quota. The selection process will include an Interview process. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Kalyani, West Bengal, India, 741235.
