Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification:

1. With Doctoral degree Ph.D. in the relevant subject (Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Plant biotechnology/Relevant disciplines). OR
2. With Masters degree holders: Masters degree in the relevant subject (Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Plant biotechnology/ Relevant disciplines) with 4/5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.

Essential Work Experience: At least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/ other engagements.

Desirable: Agrobacterium mediated genetic transformation of rice, Genome editing, molecular cloning, molecular and physiological analysis of transgenic plants.

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: Master degree in relevant subject (Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Plant biotechnology/ Plant Pathology/ Relevant disciplines) with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelors Degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualifications.

Essential Work Experience: 2 years of research experience.

Desirable: Experience in Molecular breeding of rice breeding, plant tissue culture, Artificial screening for Bacterial Blight in rice.

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Bioinformatics/ Plant Physiology/ Biotechnology) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology) selected through a process described through any one of the following;

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

OR

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ life sciences) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Biotechnology or life sciences) selected through a process described through any one of the following;

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE .
2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc

Desirable Experience:

1. Experience in transcriptomics/ genomic data analysis as evidenced through publications.
2. Specialization in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Genetic Engineering with handson work experience.
