Post Name : Chief Commercial Manager
Essential Qualification :
(1) IRTS Officer working in PML-14 of 7th CPC or Commercial Department Executives working in other PSU in IDA scale E8 (1,20,000-2,80,000)
(2) Officers of IRTS cadre of Indian Railways and working in PML-13 of 7th CPC with 15 years experience or Commercial Department Executives working in other PSU in IDA scale E6 (90,000-2,40,000) with 15 years experience.
(3) Minimum working experience of 15 years of service in Group A in Indian Railways/other Govt. Deptt / PSU.
(4) The Chief Commercial Manager is the Head of the Commercial Department. The functions of the CCM include marketing & sale of transportation provided by the Railway, fixation of rates for RORO service, fares and other charges and their correct collection, accounting and remittance. The CCM is also responsible for maintaining friendly and cordial relationship with the travelling and trading public and redressal of their grievances
(5) He is responsible for monitoring all freight loading and its growth, marketing for additional freight traffic, demurrage & wharfage, freight rate and related issues like sidings, siding charges, shunting charges and other ancillary charges, development of Goods Shed and Freight Terminals.
(6) Chief Commercial Manager also co-ordinate and deal with coaching services like passenger traffic, enhance growth in passenger traffic, catering & commercial contracts, parcel/Luggage, ticket checking, PRS & UTS, improving passenger amenities at the coaching refund cases, RCT claims etc stations,
