Mormugao Port Authority invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Trainee

Essential Qualification: Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Govt of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Govt of India.

Essential Work Experience: One year post qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of Foreign going ship.

Post Name: Safety Officer

Essential Qualification:

• Degree in Engineering in any branch with two years experience in a supervisory capacity in a Port or similar place Or

• Diploma in Engineering in any branch with five years experience in a supervisory capacity in a Port or similar place With-

• Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by Central Govt

• Knowledge of Konkani or Marathi & Hindi.

• Adequate knowledge or experience to design and conduct either independently or in collaboration with the training department suitable training and educational programme for prevention of accidents to Dock Workers.
