National Biodiversity Authority invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Direct Recruitment:

Post Name: Secretary

Essential Qualification:

For Deputation:

(i) Officers holding analogous post on regular basis; or

(ii) holding post in Pay Matrix Level 13A (VII CPC), {PB:4 - Grade Pay (Pre-revised) -VI CPC} or equivalent in the parent cadre/department on regular basis for at least two years; or

(iii) holding post in Pay Matrix Level 13 - (VII CPC), {PB: 4- Grade Pay (Pre-revised) -VI CPC} or equivalent in the parent cadre/department for at least four years.

For Direct Recruitment:

(i)Doctoral Degree / with first class Masters Degree in Zoology / Botany / Marine Biology / Biotechnology from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent

Essential Work Experience:

For Deputation: Having experience in the relevant field as well as in the Administration.

For Direct Recruitment: 14 years experience in the field of status survey on Biodiversity / investigations / conservation management, National Biodiversity Strategies, with minimum 5 years experience in administration and Government of India Rules.
