Directorate of Extension invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Joint Director (Farm Information)

Essential Qualification: 

1. holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.

2. with five years regular service in the grade rendered afte-r appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-3 (15600-39100) + 61269 Pay 5400/- (Level 10 in Pay Matrix recommended by 7th CPC)

3. with seven years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-2 (9300-34800) + Grade Pay 4600/- (Level 7 in Pay Matrix recommended by 7th CPC); and

4. Masters degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or lnstitute;

5. Five years experience in Agricultural extension including farm communication.

Desirable: 

1. Degree or diploma in Journalism or mass communication from a recognised University.

2. Experience of handling work relating to agricultural information, mass media, media extension literature, agriculture exhibitions, production of audio visual materials relating to topics on agriculture and agricultural films.
