Department of Social Justice and Empowerment invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Absorption:

Post Name: Assistant Editor (Media)

Essential Qualification: 

Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or Union Territories or Universities or recognised Research institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations:

A. (1) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department or

(II) with Five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level 6 in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre Department and or

(B) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:-

1. Bachelors degree in Journalism or Mass Communication of a recognized University or Institute or

I. Bachelors degree of a recognized University or Institute with English and Hindi as compulsory or elective subjects

II. Diploma in journalism or Mass communication of at least one year duration from a recognised University or Institute

Desirable: Two year experience in the filed of Public relations or journalism and editorial work in any Government Department
