National Institute of Technology Durgapur invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  • M.E/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Environmental Science/ Bioprocess Engg or allied subject with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute/ University. or

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry with valid NET/GATE score and with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute / University. Any other National level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, IIT, IISc. IISER etc. will also be considered.

  • Working experience in the field of wastewater treatment/ environmental biotechnology or related field with publications is preferable. NET /GATE candidate will be preferred. Selected candidate can register for PhD program under this project.
