Post Name: Sr. Assistant. Engineer(CSS) E – I Grade


Essential Qualification: Ex-servicemen retired/serving officers retiring shortly from Navy/ Air Force/ Army / Indian Coast Guard personnel with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Tele-communication/Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical discipline in the rank of JCO or equivalent having 15 years & above post qualification (Professional) experience. First class for General & OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates


Essential Work Experience: 15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with various Electronics/ Electrical Equipments in Armed Forces(Navy/ Air Force/ Army / Indian Coast Guard) viz. Radars, Communication Radios systems, Weapon systems, Missile and Fire Control systems, Electronic Warfare systems, etc. Candidates with experience in IT Hardware, networking, and server/storage will be an added advantage. Work experience in BEL supplied equipment also will be given preference.

Essential Work Experience: 15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with Defence Electronic Equipment during their tenure in Defence Service. Candidates with experience in having worked in NSRY (Port Blair) or with BEL Equipment will be given preference
