University of Kashmir invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name:

  1. Bachelor of Technology (Lateral Entry)

  2. Bachelor of Engineering (Lateral Entry)

Essential Qualification: The candidates should have passed the 3-year Diploma in any branch with at least 50% marks from State Board of Technical Education or from a recognized University/Board or B.Sc. graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject from a recognized University, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. However, the candidates applying under any reserved category shall have obtained at least 45% marks in 3-Year Diploma programme.

Admission Details

University of Kashmir invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 23 of 2022. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Jammu and Kashmir, 182148.

Selected Candidates List Released for B.Tech/B.E (Lateral Entry) Programme

Selected Candidates List has been Released for B.Tech/B.E (Lateral Entry) Programme for the Academic Year 2022 by University of Kashmir.The provisionally selected candidates shall download their online Admission Forms from official website of the University of Kashmir www.kashmiruniversity.net by entering their Entrance Test Form No. and approach, alongwith all the relevant original certificates and self attested Xerox copies of certificates/documents to the Director/Principal of the concerned Institute/College for obtaining the authority slip for depositing the prescribed Fee reflected on the downloaded pay-in-slips from December 12, 2022 to December 14, 2022 (working days only). Please note that fee will be accepted by any FINACLE branch of J&K Bank only on production of authority slip from the concerned Directors/Principal of the Institute/Campus/College. Any provisionally selected candidate failing to complete the admission formalities upto 14/12/2022.For more details refer to Selected Candidates List attachment

Counselling Scheduled has been Released on 21/12/2022 for admission in B.Tech/B.E (Lateral Entry) Programme on remained vacant seats for the Academic Year 2022 by University of Kashmir.Counselling will be held on 23/12/2022 at Directorate of Admissions & Competitive Examinations, University of Kashmir.For more details refer to Counselling Notice attachment

Selected Candidates List Released

Selected Candidates List has been Released for B.Tech/B.E (Lateral Entry) Programme on 23/12/2022 by University of Kashmir.The provisionally selected candidates shall download their online Admission Forms from official website of the University of Kashmir www.kashmiruniversity.net by entering their Entrance Test Form No. and approach, along with all the relevant original certificates and self attested Xerox copies of certificates/documents to the Director/Principal of the concerned Institute/College for obtaining the authority slip for depositing the prescribed Fee reflected on the downloaded pay-in-slips from December 26, 2022 to December 30, 2022 (working days only). Please note that fee will be accepted by any FINACLE branch of J and K Bank only on production of authority slip from the concerned Directors/Principal of the Institute/Campus/College. Any provisionally selected candidate failing to complete the admission formalities upto December 30, 2022 shall forfeit his/her right to admission and the resultant vacancy (ies), if any, shall be filled up from among the waiting list.For more details refer to Selected Candidates List attachment
