Indian Maritime University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name : Faculty (Marine Engineering)
Essential Qualification :
(1) MEO Class I (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
(2) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.(3) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate / Willingness to undertake post joining.
(4) Teaching / training to Pre-sea courses (B.Tech [Marine Engineering] & PGDME) & Post Sea Courses (Competency, Modular & Simulator)
Desirable Work Experience : Six months of teaching / training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India and TSTA Course Certificate.
