Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name : Deputy General Manager (Database Administrator)

Essential Qualification :

(1) B.Tech or MCA or MSC in relevant fields
(2) Deep understanding of Oracle Architecture, RAC, Grid Infrastructure (CRS,ASM), RMAN, Data Guard/Physical Standby

(3) Should have performed multiple Patching cycles (one off patch, PSU Patches) of Grid Infrastructure and Database

(4) Should have performed Major Database Upgrades

(5) Working Knowledge of Exadata would be an advantage

(6) Working knowledge in OCI/IAAS would be an advantage

Essential Work Experience :

(1) 6+ Years of Strong Oracle Database Administration experience maintaining high availability of databases for global operation using Oracle RAC and Data Guard/Standby databases
(2) Experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems

(3) Strong Experience in Backup and Recovery
(4) Strong Experience in Database Performance Tuning

(5) Hands on experience of Oracle Database Migration

(6) Hands on experience on Oracle Enterprise Manager

(7) Experience of working on Cloud (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)) would be an advantage
