Ministry Of Earth Sciences invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Mission Director

Essential Qualification: Masters Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Oceanography/Marine Sciences/Marine Biology/Zoology or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University with at least 60% marks (first class) in the qualifying degree level.

Essential Work Experience: At least Twenty-one (21) years of experience (after obtained essential educational qualification) in Research and Development in Ocean Engineering/Ocean Technology/Ocean Science/Oceanography/Environmental Engineering as evidenced by research paper/reports/patents.

Desirable:

(i) Doctorate degree in Science or Master degree in Engineering in the relevant subject or area of specialisation.

(ii) Experience in policy making, planning and project development, coordination, managing and directing major programmes/projects in related area of Science and Technology, preferably Ocean Sciences and Technology.
