Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central Government of State Government or Union Territories or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory or Semi Government or Autonomous Organisations :
(a) (1) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department, or
(ii) having three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of 14,300-18,300-5 CPC)/PB 4 37,400-67,000/-+ GP 8,700 (6 CPC) corresponding to level 13 of Pay Matrix of 7 CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department or
(iii) having eight years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of 12000-16,500/- (5 CPCY PB 3 15,600-39,100/- +GP 7,600/- (6 CPC) corresponding to level 12 of Pay Matrix of 7 CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department or
(iv) having thirteen years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of 10,000-15,200/-5CPC) PB 3 15,600-39,100/- + GP 6,600/-(6 CPC) corresponding to level 11 of Pay Matrix of 7CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department, and
(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(1) Recognised medical qualifications included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licenciate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-Il of the Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub -section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma mentioned in Schedule VI of Central Health Service or equivalent;
(iii) 16 years standing in Medical profession including five years administrative experience. (Period of deputation or contract including period of deputation or contract in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed five years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding 56{fifty six) years as on the closing date of receipt of applications).
