The Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics Pune invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Engineer-I

Essential Qualification: A Bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a University/Institution recognized by the UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum two years of experience after graduation, of working in an industry/public sector/government establishment in the Production, Test, and Development activities of electronic controllers, test and measurement equipment, wire harnesses, etc.

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having knowledge and experience in -

1. Understanding PCB Drawings, Electrical Drawings, and developing Inspection reports based on the drawings.

2. Cable Harnesses manufacturing process, and related IPC standards.

3. Rigid and rigid-flex PCB design, fabrication, assembly, automated testing, and its related IPC standards.

4. Familiar with Quality Assurance Tools and Techniques specific to Electronic/Electrical manufacturing industries.

5. Liaison with suppliers related to Fabrication, QA processes, and documents.

6. Programming, tools like MS Office, MS Project
