North Eastern Space Application Centre invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification:

  • B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. degree should be in First Class or equivalent grade with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale or equivalent from recognized university.

  • M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Sericulture/ Horticulture/ Botany/ Life Science/ Environmental Science/ Geology/ Geography/ Applied Geography/ Physics/ Home Science or equivalent. OR

  • M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ Spatial Information Science/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent. OR

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ ECE or equivalent.

  • M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/ Geology/ Geography/ Environmental Science OR equivalent. OR B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering or equivalent.

  • M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent. OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/ Geoinformatics/ Geomatics or equivalent.

  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/ Software Engineering or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • Web GIS and spatial decision support development

  • Working experience in application of RS and GIS in Agriculture and allied areas / Land use Planning

  • Working experience in applications of RS and GIS

  • Working experience in RS & GIS, Web GIS and spatial decision support development

Recruitment Details

North Eastern Space Application Centre invites application for various posts. Total 27 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number NESAC/RMT-TEMP/03/2022. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 35, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Ex-Servicemen, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Umiam, Meghalaya, India, 793122.
