Recruitment Details

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board invites application for various posts. Total 1329 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. The minimum age limit is 21 and the maximum age limit ranges to 30, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen and Government Servant/Departmental Candidate will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Economically Weaker Sections, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Ex-servicemen and Women . The examination will be conducted through Online mode at Regional level. There will be a Physical Test. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, 226001.

Computer typing test is to be conducted from date 18/10/2022 at the examination centers of district Lucknow. Admit card will be available on website for the same before 3 days of exam date. Candidates who have applied for the post of Sub Inspector of Police (Confidential) will also appear in the Typing Test first, and if they qualify in the Computer Typing Test, only then their Stenography Test will be conducted after one week of the Typing Test.
