Railway Recruitment Board invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)

Essential Qualification:

  • Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio and TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Mechanic.(OR)

  • Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above (OR)

  • Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (OR)

  • Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.

  • Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

Recruitment Details

Railway Recruitment Board invites application for various posts. Total 5696 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 01/2024. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 32 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Widow, Divorced Women, Government Servant/Departmental Candidate, Ex-Servicemen, Other Backward Classes and Women will be as per the government rules.
