ICMR National Institute of Virology invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name:Project Staff Nurse

Essential Qualification:

  1. Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent AND

  2. Registered nurse or ANM with any State Nursing Council

Desirable:

  1. B.Sc. Nursing

  2. Experience in Phlebotomy/Blood Collection

  3. To keep clinical record

  4. Experience in collection of oropharyngeal/Nasal swabs

Post Name: Project Technician-II

Essential Qualification:

  1. SSC or equivalent with five years experience in related field from a Government institution or recognized institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant area or ITI or National Trade Certificate of National Council for Vocational Training and successful completion of ATS in relevant trade from a Government recognized board.

  2. Intermediate (HSC with science subjects (including Biology) and B.Sc. in biological sciences shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years Experience respectively

Desirable:

  1. M.Sc. in life Science

  2. Experience in molecular biology techniques

  3. Work experience in diagnostic laboratory / Cell Culture / ELISA/PCR/Real Time PCR/sequencing

  4. Knowledge of computer application.

  5. Good writing skills for report preparation

Recruitment Details

ICMR National Institute of Virology invites application for various posts. Total 3 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 01/Project Cell/2023-24. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 32, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post.
