Post Name: Guest Faculty (Assistant Professor)

Essential Qualification:

• Good academic record as per latest UGC and the Panjab University norms in Master Degree of Economics with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters degree level from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR.

• Strong hold on Micro & Macro Economics theory; Development Theory; and Quantitative Methods/Techniques for Economics

Desirable:

• B.A./Graduation with Maths/Statistics

• Knowledge of MS Office/STATA/SPSS/Eviews/R/Python.

• Specializations: Econometrics; Mathematical Economics; Public Finance; International Economics; Industrial Economics.
