Department of Science and Technology invites applications for the following posts via Deputation

Essential Qualification:

a. Scientists or Technologists working in the Central Government or State Governments or Universities or recognised research Institutions or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations in India or abroad:

(i) holding analogous post on a regular basis; or

(ii) Scientists or Technologists or Junior Analysts with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay band -2, 9300 - 34800 with grade pay of 4800 (Level 8 as per VIlth CPC) or equivalent; or

(iii) Scientists or Technologists or Junior Analysts with three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay band -2, 9300 34800 with grade pay of 4600 (Level 7 as per VIIth CPC) or equivalent; and

b. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

i) Master Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.

Desirable:

(i) Doctorate Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) Specialized experience in Research and Development or Industrial or Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organizations.

Post Name: Scientist C

Essential Qualification:

a. Scientists or Technologists working in the Central Government or State Governments or Universities or recognised research Institutions or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous organisations in India or abroad:

(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or

(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay band -3, 15600-39100 with grade pay of 5400 (Level 10 as per VIIth CPC) or equivalent; and

b. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Master Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent. Four years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisation and scientific activities and services

Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.
