Niti Aayog invites applications for the following post via Deputation

Post Name: Senior Associate

Essential Qualification: From amongst Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations (including their attached and subordinate offices) or Universities or Recognized Research lnstitutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous 0rganizations;

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

2. With five years regular service in Level - 10 in Pay Matrix and

3. Masters Degree in any discipline or MBBS or Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Passed in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineers (lndia) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Two years)

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 5 years post qualification experience as on the last date of receipt of the application (which shall include up to 3 years for Ph.D. provided no work experience is counted during those 3 years) in formulation, appraisal, execution/ implementation, research, monitoring and evaluation of policy, programme or proiects is required.

Desirable:

1. Masters degree in economics, public health or related area from a recognized university. Training in health economics and financing.

2. B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communications Engineering/Masters Degree in Public Policy/Public Affairs/lnternational Affairs (or equivalent). Preference will be given to persons having educational qualifications from Institutions of National/[nternational repute.

3. Combined national and international experience in advising on financing and health economics as well as conducting economic analysis and applied research on health economics and human development issues. Strong knowledge of conceptual and methodological-linkages betlveen macroeconomic, fiscal and health financing issues and in the areas of health economics and health financing of national health systems. Expeftise in economics, public finances, and in health economics and financing geared toward expanding coverage of public health and social protection programs to reduce the financial risks associated with diseases and accidents

4. At least one year of experience of working in the Government or reputed Government Organizations or International development agencies, and at Ieast one year of experience of working in Research Organizations, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and Start-ups.

5. Preference will be given to persons with work experience in public policy in the domain of Digital Communications, Space Technologies, Electronics and Semiconductors, together with experience in developing policy papers/ evaluation, appraisal and monitoring of Projects & Schemes, etc., in those sectors.
