Post Name: Young Professional-II

Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Fisheries Science/ Marine Science/Marine Biology/ Zoology/Aquatic Biology/Life Science/Environmental Science/ Oceanography or Equivalent

Desirable:

1. Should be seaworthy, must be physically fit, and able to swim.

2. Experience in marine mammal taxonomy/biology/survey/stock assessment with a strong interest in the conservation of marine mammals.

3. Experience in fisheries and oceanographic data collection onboard vessels/boats and experience in handling of oceanographic equipment.

4. Experience in identification of marine plankton/ water and sediment quality analysis/GIS/statistical software.

5. Experience in ocean acoustic studies/detection of marine mammal vocalizations and other biological signals using hydrophones/hydrophone data processing and analysis

6. Scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals/reports.

Post Name: Field Assistant

Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline

Desirable:

1. Postgraduate in Fisheries Science/ Marine Science/Marine Biology/Zoology/Aquatic Biology/Life Science/Environmental Science/ Oceanography or Equivalent.

2. Candidate should be sea-worthy, physically fit/ able to swim, and with working experience in research projects.

3. Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in MS Office.

4. Work experience in Government/private office in the administrative task and data entry.

5. Experience in identifying marine plankton/ water and sediment quality analysis/GIS/statistical software.
