Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :
Post Name : Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification :
(1) M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc./B.Tech/B.E. in any branch of life sciences with CGPA>8 (>80%) from a recognized university/institute.
(2) 6 months of research experience in life sciences.
(3) Qualified for any of the National Eligibility Tests - CSIR/UGC NET; GATE; DBT; ICMR
Essential Work Experience : Candidates with prior research experience in the following will be preferred.
• Drosophila maintenance, fly sorting, and breeding.
• Behavioral activity assays, Drosophila Activity Monitor (DAM) setup, execution, and data analysis (is desirable but not mandatory).
• Protein extraction, quantification, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, and sample preparation for mass spectrometry analysis.
• Mammalian cell culture
