Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification:

  1. Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences/Social Work/Population Studies/Public Health and allied fields. Graduation in any medical field MBBS/AYUSH/Allied will be considered as added advantage.

  2. High level of commitment and integrity. Ability to work independently.

  3. Excellent interpersonal skills.

  4. Excellent co-ordination and organisational skills.

  5. Ability to strategize and implement the field planning

  6. Quantitative data collection skills and knowledge.

  7. Well worse with qualitative and quantitative data analysis software

  8. Willingness to travel

  9. Knowledge of National AIDS Control Programme and programmatic evaluations.

Essential Work Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in research projects in the field of HIV/AIDS is desirable. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of working with High-Risk Groups (HRG) population especially Injectable Drug Users (IDUs), Targeted Interventions projects and Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST), ICTC and ART Centres. The candidate should have research skills in quantitative and/or qualitative data collection, management, and analysis. Conversant in the local language in addition to English. Well-versed in reporting and documentation. She/he shall have experience conducting FGDs/IDIs with HRGs and Bridge populations. The candidate should be sensitive towards issues relating to HRG communities and PLHIVs
