Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: M.E /M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering /Materials Engineering/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with first class in B.Tech /M.Tech and should be GATE qualified

Desirable: M.E /M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering /Materials Engineering/Mechanical Engineering and background of steel research will be given preference.

Post Name: Technical Assistant

Essential Qualification: Graduate in science (physics/chemistry) with 3 yrs of experiences or Diploma in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute with 3 yrs of experiences

Desirable: Candidate having work experiences in operation of Laboratory Rolling Mill, scientific equipment (Metallography laboratory: sample preparation and knowledge on optical microscopy, hardness measurement and microstructural analyses) will be given preferences.

Place of Interview: Office of the Head of the Dept. of Metallurgy & Materials Engg, IIEST, Shibpur.
