Tata Institute of Fundamental Research invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Project Scientific Officer (D)

Essential Qualification :

(1) Full Time M.E./M.Tech./ Equivalent with aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized university/institute in Optics or Photonics.

(2) Minimum two (02) years’ post qualification experience in high-power laser systems with a focus on instrumentation, automation and product development.

Desirable :

(1) Extensive experience with ultrafast lasers, high-power lasers and associated optics.

(2) Extensive experience with building metrology and characterization systems for optical quality substrates and thin films.

(3) Experience with the conception, design and development of optical devices and systems.

(4) Associated Industry experience with product development is desired.
