Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released admission notifications for 3 programs, including Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and others. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name:

  1. Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery

  2. Bachelor of Dental Surgery

  3. Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry

Educational Qualification:

1. 10+2 / I.Sc. / Passed separately in English (as a language and literature), Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Dwarf and Zoology) / Biotechnology in the pre-medical or equivalent examination. Minimum 50% marks for general category applicants in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology aggregates, but for SC/ST/OBC/OBC applicants, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology Should have obtained 40% marks taken together.

2. In addition to the above, the candidates included in the Unreserved (UR) created on the basis of NEET (UG) - 2023 examination should have scored not less than 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects together. SC/ST, OBC and OBC candidates should have secured not less than 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology together.

3. For PWD candidates, the aggregate marks in NEET (UG) - 2023 examination should not be less than 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. But the applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Castes (BC) and Extremely Backward Castes (EBC) will have 40% marks in the eligibility, qualifying examination and competitive examination.
