ICAR National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  • Masters Bioinformatics/ LIFE Sciences/ Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding/ Agricultural statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer application or Equivalent with Four years or Five years of Bachelors degree OR

  • Having 3 years Bachelor’s Degree who have acquired professional master degree (Three years) like MCA or eligible. Candidates having Masters Degree in basic Sciences with three years bachelor degree and two years Masters degree should have NET qualification. OR

  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatic/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Satistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer application or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics.

  • Knowledge of Programming in LINUX/R/Perl/ JAVA/ PHP/JSP and use of various software and tools.
