ICAR Indian Institute of Millets Research invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:
Post Name : Research Manager
Essential Qualification :
(1) Masters Degree in Food Technology/Food Science & Nutrition/Microbiology/ Plant Bio- Chemistry/ Agribusiness Management/ Food Engineering and allied fields with minimum of 60% marks.
(2) PhD degree will be an additional qualification.
Essential Work Experience :
(1) 2-3 years research experience in relevant field.
(2) Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, basic knowledge in cereals processing machinery, Food Chemistry, postharvest machinery, primary processing machinery, also able to handle incubation, startups, proven ability to analyze data and documentation skills.
Post Name : Research Manager (Business Marketing & Branding)
Essential Qualification : Ph.D in Business management or Master’s degree in the Agribusiness management/ MBA with exp in food processing or Agrl. Business Management/ MBA-Branding & Advertisement/ Masters in Agricultural Economics, and allied fields
Essential Work Experience :
(1) 2 years research experience in relevant field
(2) Experience in branding and digital marketing.
Post Name : Senior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification :
(1) Masters degree in the Food process engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Agricultural and Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Sciences and Nutrition/ Food Chemistry and allied fields.
(2) Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualification and 2 years research experience.
(3) Masters degree in the Food Technology/ Food science and nutrition. Food chemistry/ and allied fields with 60% marks in qualifying degree.
Essential Work Experience :
(1) Experience in new product development, advanced food processing techniques and knowledge in plant proteins, nano particles application in product development especially with reference to millets; food chemistry and nutrition; expertise in handling lab instruments, ability to analyze statistical data and documentation skills.
(2) Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, basic knowledge in cereals processing machinery, working knowledge on designing of machinery/ modification using software like Auto CAD/ solidworks postharvest machinery, primary processing machinery, also able to handle lab equipment, ability to analyze statistical data and documentation skills. • Proficiency in English, and sufficient knowledge in MS-Office and computer usage.Place of Interview : Nutrihub, ICAR – Indian Institute of Millets Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad
