National Law School of India University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Senior Lawyer

Essential Qualification :

(1) Candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognised University

(2) Should be enrolled in the Bar Council of India (BCI) and be eligible to practice in a court of law

Essential Work Experience :

(1) At least five (05) years of experience practising as an advocate in any court

(2) Previous experience in research and writing on child rights and criminal law is preferred

(3) Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Kannada and English fluently

(4) Ability to meticulously use different legal research databases

(5) Ability to work in a team, contributing to both team and individual goals

Desirable :

(1) Masters Degree in Law from a recognised University

(2) Background in child rights and criminal law

(3) Experience in research and writing on child rights or criminal law

(4) Organisation of academic workshops, trainings and events
